Kim Kardashian says CBD has ‘gotten me through a lot’

Kim Kardashian has replaced some of her prescription medication with CBD oil

The news comes four months after the social media star’s CBD-themed baby shower.

Speaking with People Magazine about her fast-paced life, she said:

“How do I do it all? It’s exhausting. I just say CBD

“I really think that it has gotten me through a lot

“I don’t think I would take a Xanax or an Ambien again”

The 38-year-old reality-star-turned-entrepreneur was recently diagnosed with lupus, an auto-immune condition.

Although Kardashian has swapped her medication for CBD oil, this is not advisable without the approval of a medical professional.

Dr Kevin Hill, the Director of the Division of Addiction Psychiatry and Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center, said:

“It’s better to do it under some supervision than none.

“If you are taking CBD and are on five other medications, I need to know that.

“It’s an extremely promising compound and there are a lot of studies that show its potential”

The People interview was published a day after the launch of sister Kourtney’s CBD derma roller.

Meanwhile, Kim and Kourtney’s younger half-sister Kylie Jenner recently promoted CBD-infused Happy Tea on social media.
