CBD – That’s so Fitch!
Teen retailer Abercrombie & Fitch has revealed plans to sell CBD products at over 160 of its US stores.
After initially selling Green Growth Brands’ (GGB) CBD line in 10 stores, the brand has decided to put them on sale in over 60 percent of their US locations.
The pilot run took place in May in stores across the United States including those in Ohio, Colorado and Nevada.
The retailer will sell products from the Seventh Sense Botanical Therapy line, with sugar scrubs, lip balms and body lotions all infused with CBD.
This botanical beauty line created by GGB includes body wash, hair care, sun products, lotions, scrubs and balms.
Their website describes the Seventh Sense line as products that “promote calm, better sleep, happiness and health.”
Peter Horvath, CEO of Green Growth Brands said:
“Abercrombie & Fitch understands how to connect with their target-consumer, not just in the U.S but across the globe”
“They have incredible brand recognition in our current target markets and beyond, and we are excited at the prospect of building our partnership together”.
More and more major US retailers have begun to stock CBD products in their stores, including supermarkets like Kroger and CVS.
With Abercrombie shares down by more than 20 percent this year, this could be a push to boost store sales by incorporating a new market trends.
Green Growth Brand products are already available in retail stores, such as DSW where they stock a line of GGB CBD foot scrubs and muscle rubs.
