2020 World Ag Expo host dedicated hemp tent
The World Ag Expo will highlight the hemp boom at their 53rd annual event
Held in Tulare, California, one of the largest agricultural events in the world plans to welcome 30 exhibitors in a dedicated hemp tent to their 2020 event.
Educational sessions will take place in the 9,400 square foot Seminar Stage tent.
There has been increasing interest in hemp from farmers since the 2018 Farm Bill
The World Ag Expo will provide a platform for farmers to learn more about the plant’s potential and cultivation processes.
The difficulties associated with growing hemp will also be explored, with exhibitors explaining their experiences with banks, market contracts and verifying seed genetics.
Christian Gray from agriculture consulting firm Plant Growth Group explained that this year’s show hosted six popular panels.
He said:
“The stands were packed at each session, so we knew World Ag Expo was the right place to talk to farmers about their hemp options, and make sure they know some of the pitfalls”.
There were 102,800 attendees from 56 countries and 48 US states at this year’s event.
